From who’s table do you eat?
That is the question every one need to honestly answering,
Is your day spent eating from the table sat out before you by the world?
Or do you eat from the table of the LORD?

We are told in the word of GOD;
in Deuteronomy 8:3
Man does not live by bread alone,
but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD.

You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you,
that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart,
whether you would keep His commandments or not.
He humbled you and let you be hungry,
and fed you with manna which you did not know,
nor did your fathers know,
that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone,
but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD.

Each of us are tested daily,
Will you pass the test?
Or not?
Will you set at the table of this world,
Or will you set at the table set out before you that is from the LORD?
Will you pay attention to; listen to, His words,
will you keep His commandments?

Do you allow the LORD GOD to be your shepherd?
The shepherd leads His flock,
those who will obey His commandments,
Jesus said:
“If you love me you will keep My commandments”
Those who love will keep His commandments,
those who do not will not,
And will not set at His table in heaven.

What we have to look forward to if we will allow Him to be our LORD,
our shepherd,
If we will eat from His table, not the table from this world,
If we will eat, digest, His word, and obey His commandments.

Psalm 23:1-6
The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

We are also told in the words of the LORD GOD
“when we chose to rebel against the LORD our GOD,
And in our heart we chose to test Him,
And chose to continue to sin against Him,
To rebel against Him and His word.
By asking to eat according to the desire of our heart,
Speaking and acting against GOD;
Just as the children of Israel did wall in the wilderness,
“They said, “Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?”
He gave them water from a rock,
He gave them Bread from Heaven,
But still not good enough they wonted meat.
The LORD heard their complaints,
He heard and was full of wrath;
His fire and His anger was kindled and mounted against them,
Because they did not believe in the LORD GOD
And did not trust in His salvation.

Wisdom from GOD has set a table before us,
Wisdom (She) tell us
She has built her house,
She has prepared her food,
She has mixed her wine;
She has also set her table;
She calls from the tops of the heights of the city:
“Whoever is naive,
(( naive = (a person) showing a lack of experience, wisdom, or judgment  ))
let him turn in here!
To him who lacks understanding she says,
Come, eat of my food
And drink of the wine I have mixed.
Forsake your folly and live,
And proceed in the way of understanding.”

Folly:
to eat from the table of this world rather then the table of the LORD,
Folly:
Lack of good sense,
foolish action or conduct,
A foolish act, idea or practice.

Folly a foolish act, a foolish conduct.
This could be compared to someone who;
Hears the word of the LORD,
reads the word of the LORD,
But still eats from the table set before them by the world.
Rather then from the table of the LORD.

Isaiah 65:1-16
GOD’s warning to the rebellious,
Those who hear, read His word but will not except nor obey, Those who chose to continue to set and eat from the table of this world

Even tho they know it is not of GOD,
Not pleasing to the LORD
Not wise to do so.
In Isaiah we are told,
it is to our destruction for us to forsake the LORD
To forsake; is to,
abandon, to turn your back to, to set aside and neglect.
To do evil in the sight of the LORD.

Jesus came was beaten, crucified on the cross,
and rose again on the third day,
So that we may be redeemed,
redemption and salvation are free gifts from our LORD,
that HE offers to us,
All we need to do is except repent and confess.

If this is something one truly understand and excepts,
There should be a heart of gratitude,
that brings the believer to the point of obedience,
And with a heart of gratitude for what the LORD has dun
We obey His commandments with out complaining,
Setting at His table being filled with life from His word,
for man does not live by bread alone,
but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD.

So will you be feed by the Lord today or by the world.

Will you spend your time in His word,
setting at the table of His wisdom Learning His ways,
seeking His kingdom.
or will you be setting plunged in to a screen or monitor
seeking the ways of this world.
seeking approval from men rather then that of the LORD your GOD..

A few more thought before we go.
1Corinthians 10:21-22
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons;
you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.
Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy?
We are not stronger than He, are we?

We can not participate in the ways of the LORD and the ways of this world,
We can not serve two masters

Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters;
for either he will hate the one and love the other,
or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and wealth.

You can not serve GOD and man.
You can not serve GOD and this world.
You can not serve GOD and your worldly lust.

Chose this day who you will serve,
Chose this day who’s table you will est from.
