Ezekiel 18:1-4
¶ Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
“What do you mean by using this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying,
‘The fathers eat the sour grapes,
But the children’s teeth are set on edge’?
As I live,” declares the Lord GOD, “you are surely not going to use this proverb in Israel anymore.
Behold, all souls are Mine;
the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine.
The soul who sins will die.”
Ezekiel 18:5-9 ¶
“But if a man is righteous and practices justice and righteousness, and does not eat at the mountain shrines or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, or defile his neighbor’s wife or approach a woman during her menstrual period—
if a man does not oppress anyone, but restores to the debtor his pledge, does not commit robbery, but gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with clothing,
if he does not lend money on interest or take increase, if he keeps his hand from iniquity and executes true justice between man and man, if he walks in My statutes and My ordinances so as to deal faithfully—he is righteous and will surely live,” declares the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 18:10-13
¶ “Then he may have a violent son who sheds blood and who does any of these things to a brother
(though he himself did not do any of these things),
that is, he even eats at the mountain shrines, and defiles his neighbor’s wife, oppresses the poor and needy, commits robbery, does not restore a pledge, but lifts up his eyes to the idols and commits abomination, he lends money on interest and takes increase; will he live?
He will not live!
He has committed all these abominations, he will surely be put to death; his blood will be on his own head.”
Ezekiel 18:14-18
¶ “Now behold, he has a son who has observed all his father’s sins which he committed, and observing does not do likewise.
He does not eat at the mountain shrines or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, or defile his neighbor’s wife, or oppress anyone, or retain a pledge, or commit robbery, but he gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with clothing, he keeps his hand from the poor, does not take interest or increase, but executes My ordinances, and walks in My statutes; he will not die for his father’s iniquity, he will surely live.
As for his father, because he practiced extortion, robbed his brother and did what was not good among his people, behold, he will die for his iniquity.”
Ezekiel 18:19-20
¶ “Yet you say, ‘Why should the son not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity?’ When the son has practiced justice and righteousness and has observed all My statutes and done them, he shall surely live.
The person who sins will die.
The son will not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son’s iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.”
Ezekiel 18:21-23
¶ “But if the wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed and observes all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall surely live; he shall not die. All his transgressions which he has committed will not be remembered against him; because of his righteousness which he has practiced, he will live. Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord GOD, “rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?”
Ezekiel 18:24-29
¶ “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live? All his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered for his treachery which he has committed and his sin which he has committed; for them he will die.”
“Yet you say,
‘The way of the Lord is not right.’ Hear now, O house of Israel! Is My way not right? Is it not your ways that are not right?
When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and dies because of it, for his iniquity which he has committed he will die. Again, when a wicked man turns away from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life. Because he considered and turned away from all his transgressions which he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
But the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not right.’ Are My ways not right, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are not right?”
Ezekiel 18:30-32
¶ “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct,” declares the Lord GOD. “Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling block to you. Cast away from you all your transgressions which you have committed and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! For why will you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord GOD. “Therefore, repent and live.”

As believers in and followers of our Lord Christ Jesus we are adopted children of Father GOD. That does not make us the house of Israel but i think it does put us under the same rules and obligations.
The obligation to obey the Lord our GOD, and to be righteous, to practices justice and righteousness, Father GOD sets out the guide lines.
“if a man is righteous and practices justice and righteousness, and does not eat at the mountain shrines or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, or defile his neighbor’s wife or approach a woman during her menstrual period—
if a man does not oppress anyone, but restores to the debtor his pledge, does not commit robbery, but gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with clothing,
if he does not lend money on interest or take increase,
if he keeps his hand from iniquity and executes true justice between man and man,
if he walks in My statutes and My ordinances so as to deal faithfully—he is righteous and will surely live,“ declares the Lord GOD.
“But if the wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed and observes all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
All his transgressions which he has committed will not be remembered against him; because of his righteousness which he has practiced, he will live.
Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord GOD, “rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?”
“But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live? All his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered for his treachery which he has committed and his sin which he has committed; for them he will die.”
“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct,” declares the Lord GOD.
Father God sent His son to be given in sacrifice on a cross to pay the price for our sins, He died so that we might live,
In the above viruses Father sets out how the righteous and the unrighteous live and how each should live.
We are told the each according to his own conduct will be judged,
We are told if we are living in unrighteousness we need to repent, turn away from our sins so that our sins do not put us in the position of having to die.
For by repenting of and turning from our sins and practicing righteousness we shall live. As believers in Christ Jesus, we should desire to please Him for what He has done for us. Jesus in Matthew states
“if you love me you will keep My commandments”
And in John 14:6 Jesus states
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me”
Take the time to read Romans 5
i am not going to post it here get a bible and set down and read it, take the time to slowly go through it and find out what Father God through Christ Jesus has done for you.
If your faith is in Christ Jesus and you have asked Him in to your life, repented of your sins, and turned from them to live a righteous live, you shall live throughout eternity in the presents of the LORD.
So repent, turn from the sin in you, allow the Holy Spirit to make you a new heart and a new spirit. and live a righteous life, being justice and righteous,
Father GOD sets out the guide lines.
Jesus said
“I and the Father are one.”
“If you have seen Me you have seen the Father.”
“if you love Me you will keep My commandments.”
Do you love the LORD?
Then show it by doing as He has said.
For each one will be judged by the deeds lived out.
“Because he considered and turned away from all his transgressions which he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.”

Deuteronomy 10:12-14
“Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require from you,
but to fear the LORD your God,
to walk in all His ways and love Him,
and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
and to keep the LORD’S commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?
Behold, to the LORD your God belong heaven and the highest heavens, the earth and all that is in it.”
{{{
are not believers in Christ Jesus adopted in to the family of GOD?
Are adopted children to be treated differently?
Answer: NO
We who have been adopted in to the Kingdom of GOD are responsible to obey the Lord our GOD just the same as Israel is to obey.
We are told 365 time in the word of GOD to not fear,
so strict attention should be paid when we are instructed to fear.
what does the LORD your God require from you,
to fear Him,
to walk in all His ways,
to love Him, and
to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and to keep the LORD’S commandments and His statutes.
And aging we are told in Deuteronomy 10:20
“You shall fear the LORD your God”
“You shall fear the LORD your God;
you shall serve Him and cling to Him, and
you shall swear by His name.
Deuteronomy 13:1-8
“If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes true, concerning which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods (whom you have not known) and let us serve them,’
you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams;
for the LORD your God is testing you to find out if you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.
But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has counseled rebellion against the LORD your God who brought you from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, to seduce you from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk.
So you shall purge the evil from among you.”
¶ “If your brother, your mother’s son, (that would be your birth brother)
or your son or daughter,
or the wife you cherish,
or your friend who is as your own soul,
entice you secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods’ (whom neither you nor your fathers have known, of the gods of the peoples who are around you, near you or far from you, from one end of the earth to the other end), you shall not yield to him or listen to him; and your eye shall not pity him, nor shall you spare or conceal him.”
(( A little side note:
Being enticed to fallow after other gods. ?
what are the other gods?
Can be a person, teacher, actor, athlete, preacher, hooker.
Can be a job, position, house, car, boat, sport, clothing.
Can be anything that can be purchased with money.
Is anyone or thing other than the GOD of creation,
it can even be yourself. ))
With all that is going on in the world today you need to realize you are running out of time.
Get things right with The Lord your GOD,
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
James 4:6-8
But He gives a greater grace.
Therefore it says,
“GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.”
Submit therefore to God.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
(( “God is opposed to the proud”
We are to resist the devil, and by doing so he will flee from us.
We are to draw near to God, and in doing so He will draw near to us.
We are told to clean our hands of sin And to purify our hearts.
We are not to be doubled minded. ))
Matthew 22:37
“YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.”
Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”
(( No one can serve two masters;
No matter what the other master may be, if you are not placing the LORD your GOD as your only Master you are asking for trouble.
Time is quickly running out.
Make the choice and stick with it;
either chose The LORD your GOD and obey His commandments, loving Him and Him alone with all your heart, mind and soul.
OR
chose to follow after the world, and live in sin,
if this is your choice stop playing church and go on your way.
If you chose The LORD your GOD and to obey His commandments,
To love Him and Him alone with all your heart, mind and soul.
Then He will bless you for eternity.
Fear the Lord your GOD, resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Psalm 34:9
O fear the LORD, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no want.
Psalm 111:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever.
Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge;
Fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 8:12-14
“I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And I find knowledge and discretion.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverted mouth, I hate.
Counsel is mine and sound wisdom;
I am understanding, power is mine.”
Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
Proverbs 14:27
“The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, That one may avoid the snares of death.”
Proverbs 15:33
“The fear of the LORD is the instruction for wisdom, And before honor comes humility.”
Isaiah 33:6
And He will be the stability of your times,
A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge;
The fear of the LORD is his treasure. ))
Was setting here finishing up and a thought came:
“Perfect love cast out all fear”
As a believer in Christ Jesus what is perfect love?
1John 4:15-21
“Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us.
God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment;
because as He is, so also are we in this world.
There is no fear in love;
but perfect love casts out fear,
because fear involves punishment,
and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
We love, because He first loved us.
If someone says,
“I love God,”
and hates his brother, (a fellow believer) he is a liar;
for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.
And this commandment we have from Him,
that the one who loves God should love his brother also.”
This perfect love is our Lord and savior Christ Jesus.
And if we are abiding in Him, He is abiding in us.
this love, the love we are to obtain through faith in Christ Jesus, cast out all fear of this world and what it may do to our human body.
Philippians 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
This should be the reaction of a true believer in Christ Jesus.
To live gives us more time and opportunities to share the good news of Christ Jesus with others,
But to die is to be with the Lord.
A win, win no matter how you look at it.
So let the world kill this body,
i get to go home.
Do you have that assurance?
Do you truly love the LORD your GOD?
Or are you fearful of what this world might do to you or say about you?
No one can play on both sides of the fence.

How shall i live:
This is where the Holy Spirit lead me too,
So simple i wondered right by it but never grasped it till about just a few minutes ago.
How shall I live?
Answer below;
Psalm 23:1-6
A Psalm of David.
The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
My faith, my hope, my provision, is all in my Lord Christ Jesus, the only begotten son of Father GOD.
He will lead me, He will guide me, and i SHALL NOT WANT.
He restores my soul.
He guides me in the path of righteousness.
He is always with me;
so even though i may be looking at death i have no need to fear.
His rod and His staff, they comfort me.
For they keep me in line with His word.
He is preparing a feast for me in the sight of my enemies.
He has anointed my head with His oil.
He causes my life to be filled and overflow with goodness and loving kindness.
He is preparing a place for me so that i may dwell in His house for ever and ever.
So how ells shall i live, but for Him.

How shall i live: part 3
Right from the mouth of Christ Jesus:
The sermon on the mount
Matthew 5:2-12
Jesus opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying,
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
{{ when you read this do you look at it for how you are to be in life,
how you are to live,
or do you just look for what you will get?
The way you read and look at the word of GOD will tell you a lot about your self and your life.
The blessing you will receive, for living a life dedicated to the Lord your GOD is not as important as living the way you need too to receive the gift or blessing.
It is more important to be mindful of and have the characteristics Jesus has spoken of then to be looking for the reward.
For if your time is spend allowing the Holy Spirit to build these characteristics in your life the blessings will automatically follow.
For Jesus said “Blessed are the”
and then spoke the blessing you will receive.
The Lord Jesus will fulfill His word so live in this manner and you will receive. }}
Matthew 5:13
“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again?
It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.”
{{ believers in and followers of The Lord Christ Jesus are salt in this world, salt may heart in a wound, but it also cleans and heals.
With the characteristics listed above you can be salt for Christ Jesus in this world and open a pathway for the Holy Spirit to cleans and heal the souls of others, so they may also find and except Christ Jesus as their LORD. }}
Jesus tells us in:
Matthew 5:14-16
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;
nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket,
but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
(( when you except Christ, and become a believer in and of Him; He goes before the Fathe (Father GOD) and askes HIM to send you a helper,
the Spirit of truth the Holy Spirit to dwell in you.
John 14:16
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper,
that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth,
whom the world cannot receive,
because it does not see Him or know Him,
but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.”
The Helper, the Holy Spirit will help you know the truth and how to live it out.
He will help you keep your salt salty and your light bright for all to see. But it is your choice to allow Him to do so. }}
This is where reading the bible and finding the reality of the word of GOD can become a bit scary for some who read it.
But for believers those whom belong to Christ Jesus should wake up and alien their lives to follow His teachings.
Yes, all sin except the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit can be forgiven,
if you repent and ask.
Why not take the life given to you by what Christ Jesus did for you at the cross and then sealed by coming back to life three days later and live it to the fullest for Him.
Why not be the salt and the light that draws others to Him, so that their lives can be healed and saved?
Why not show a bit of gratitude for whet He has done for you by sharing it with others? }}
In Matthew 5:17-48 Jesus takes the commandments of Father God and takes them from an action to thoughts, showing us that our thoughts are just as important as our actions.
You can hide a lot from the world in your mind that can cause you to sin against GOD,
But you can not hide any thought or action from the sight of GOD.
If you are honest with yourself,
you will realize it is your thoughts that lead you into acting out sin. }}
Matthew 5:17-20
“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.
For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven;
but whoever keeps and teaches them,
he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”
(( anyone who adds to or takes from the commandments set forth by Father God and our Lord Christ Jesus shall be called least in the Kingdom of heaven,
why settle for being the least in heaven when you can be called great in His kingdom.
Why not take the effort and time to learn, live and teach others the commandments of GOD.
Not just to gain a better state but to thank the Lord for what He has done for you.
Christ Jesus straight out lets us know unless our righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, we will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Sounds rather harsh?
Not when Christ has already paid our debt and given us salvation.
So that when we stand before the judgment of GOD Christ will be there standing between us and the Father as our defense having already paid our debt,
and being covered by the blood of Christ Jesus we will be made clean purged of all sin,
holy and blameless before the Father.
Wall we are still on this earth our number one goal should be seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness,
we should be the salt and the light for Him,
we should grasp hold of HIS commandments and live by them that is a rather small price to pay compared to what it will cost us if we don’t. }}
Matthew 5:21-26
“You have heard that the ancients were told,
‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’
But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.
Therefore, if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go;
first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.
Make friends quickly with your opponent at law while you are with him on the way, so that your opponent may not hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
Truly I say to you, you will not come out of there until you have paid up the last cent.
((({
In Matthew 5 Jesus go on to speak on adultery, divorce, making vows, the saying ‘an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth and about loving your neighbor,
And just as with 5:21 where He speaks on the commandment ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER’ and takes the action of committing murder to the thoughts and words we have and speak.
The act of murder – to include being angry with a brother you are guilty, if you say to a brother,
‘You good-for-nothing,’ you are guilty, and if you say,
‘You fool,’ you shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.
The act of adultery -- to even looking at a woman with lust, you have already committed adultery with her.
but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
And so on.
At the cross and then His resurrection Christ Jesus sealed our salvation,
freeing us from damnation,
but we have to chose to follow after Hm and His teachings.
Keeping watch on our own lives to make sure are attention is firmly planted on Him and His word, and that we are walking in the path He has sat out for us.
Making sure we are seeking His kingdom and His righteousness surpasses every other thing in our lives.
Romans 12:1-2
Therefore. I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Living with an attitude of gratitude, walking out our lives in the good news of Christ Jesus our LORD. }}}}
Zechariah 8:16
“These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates.”
Matthew 15:17-20
“Do you not understand that everything that goes into the mouth passes into the stomach, and is eliminated? But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man.”
{{{ And in Matthew 5 Jesus shows us that our thought life can be just as damming as our speech and actions.
So, Christ Jesus asked Father GOD to send the Holy Spirit to help us.
And we all need help,
He will help not only help us find the narrow path,
but wil help to stay on it once we find it.
We just need to allow Him to do so.
will you humble yourself before the Lord your God and allow His Holy Spirit of truth do do so? }}}
It is your choice.

Last time we ended up last time with
“My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Are you willing to humble yourself before the Lord your God?
Are you willing to pray and seek HIS face?
Are you willing to turn from your wicked ways, from putting the world and its ways before GOD?
Are you willing?
Jesus stands at the door of your heart waiting for you to answer and let Him in.
How long will you try to keep Him waiting?
He will not wait forever for you.

We are told to seek first the Kingdome of GOD and His righteousness
Matthew 6:33
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness”
This cannot be done by following after the world and its ways,
It cannot be done by gathering wealth unto yourself.
And NO, you do not need all the things laying around your house,
Just take a few minutes and honestly look around your home how much stuff do you have that you never use?
How much stuff do you have stored away that you have not even seen for a year, two years, three years,,,
get the point,
the average person’s life looks like their home, cluttered with all kinds of things of this world,
things that are not pleasing to the Lord your GOD.
If your life is looking like your home, you should probably do something about the way you live.
Seeking GOD’s kingdom and His righteousness;
cannot be accomplished by spending a few hours a week in the words of GOD and the rest of a week with serving the world and its ways.
Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”
Luke 16:13
“No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”
Who do you serve?
“MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD”

Little side insight:
Years back (around 54 years ago) there was a young man who made an average $5,150.00 a day Monday -Thursday, and would more than double that on both Friday and Saturday, for an average of $41,200.00 a week, or around $178,500.00 a month. For an average yearly income of around $2,142,000.00.
When he met the Lord Christ Jesus, and took the time to read His word the Bible.
His life changed and he realized he was a sinner he repented of his former life and became dedicated to Father God, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
He learned that the millions of things the millions of dollars could perches were nothing but a trap.
Just a work master that had no form of mercy.
He learned how to live with only the true needs one has in life, food, clothing, shelter (basic food not fancy restraint's, everyday clothing not designer or name brand ans basic shelter somewhere to be in out of the winter cold and the summer heat. – not a huge building with more rooms then he could use, in reality, he found a 24-foot by 24-foot cabin actually held more room than he needed.
His possessions consisted of
1. A Bible
2. Two or three not book binders full of paper a hand full of pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a eraser.
3. A bed (given to him by his mom and dad)
4. Two arm chairs and couch {picked up at a yard sale cheap.)
5. A small kitchen sink, dining table that seated 4, two chairs and a bench (all he picked up from a yard sale)
6. A small camp oven and stove (picked up on the cheap from a wrecking yard}
7. A change of clothing for five days (a wash tub, a ringer and a cloth line}
8. A few milk crates for shelving and storage space for clothing and for kitchen. (picked up from yard sales and local stores)
9. He had a four-piece setting for dinning, four mugs, four glasses, four plates and four bows, and a milk tote for cooking utensils a couple pots and two cast iron skillets.
10. A composting toilet.
11. Candles and lanterns for lighting.
12. A makeshift out door shower with water heated by the sun. 13. A 30-year-old beat up farm truck.
14. A couple of each; shovels, rakes, pick’s, axes, hand saws, bow saws, buckets and barrels.
15. and a garden to grow his own food.
He learned to live a simple life and spent most of his day’s talking with His Lord, Christ Jesus.
He now lives on $1,550.00 a month or $18,684.00 a year.
A 11,364% decrease in income;
and says he lives better now than he ever did with the more than 2 million a year.
and i quote:
"Knowing what a true need is, and the difference between a need and a wont can make a real difference in a person’s life.
Not being trapped in the world and its ways you learn you do have the choice of who your Master will be, whom you will serve."
That brings one back to;
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”
Your time is running out!
Figure out who you will serve?
whom will you answer to?
Whom you serve is the one you spend your time with, and trying to please.
Figure it out, time is getting away.
Next, we will get int o Matthew 5 where Jesus is speaking and teaching us in depth how we are to live.
Pray ill see you there.
