2Peter 1:1- 4
¶ Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by (or through) the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.

{{{    (It is God our Savior Jesus’s righteousness that brings us in to faith, for it is through His righteousness that His seed of faith is given to those who have excepted Him and His love.)

Perter first speaks of faith, we as believers in Jesus Christ, receive by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
And yes, we receive faith from God and savior, Jesus Christ. as we have read before Jesus will provide all our needs, even faith.
It is up to us if we desire that faith to grow or allow it to go dormant.

As believers we have been given everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of our savior Jesus Christ.
As believers in Christ Jesus we have been called by His own glory and excellence.
So that by His own glory and excellence we may become partakers of His divine nature, that by His divine nature it has been granted to us His precious and magnificent promises that as He did, we may also escape the corruption that is in the world, that has been brought in to the world through the lust satin feeds in the heart of man for the things created by mankind, the things of this world, the lust of mankind for anything other then Christ Jesus.
Lust is that overwhelming desire or craving, that Longing desire; that driving eagerness to possess or enjoy someone or something, that intense desire to take part in, that desire to take hold of the things that we think will bring us satisfaction and pleasure.
Man, as to soften his responsibility to not lust after the world and its ways calls lust desire, or even want,
mankind allows want in his life, willfully unaware it will turn in to desire and ultimately in to lust.
And once lust is brought to his attention, he will state something like “no I just really enjoy it.” Sin is sin, you can’t pretend it is not in you, and calling it something other then what it is, does not change the reality of the truth.

Romans 12:1-3
¶ Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is,
that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think;
but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

But as in all things it is our choice if that faith given to us grows in us or not allowed to grow. God will not brake your will. }}

2Peter 1:5
Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence,
in your faith supply moral excellence,
and in your moral excellence, knowledge,
and in your knowledge, self-control,
and in your self-control, perseverance,
and in your perseverance, godliness,
and in your godliness, brotherly kindness,
and in your brotherly kindness, love.
For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.
Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you;
for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble;
for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

{{{ Faith in GOD has been given to the believe in Jesus and it is through being diligent in asking the Holy Spirit to direct us paying careful attention for the direction of the Holy Spirit, applying much effort, with mush care, even painstaking desire to grow our faith in our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
by applying all diligence, in our faith in Christ Jesus, He will grow in to us a supply of moral excellence.
And through moral excellence, knowledge,
knowledge of Him and His commandments, and through our knowledge of His Commandments, self-control,
and through self-control, perseverance,
and through perseverance, godliness,
and through godliness, brotherly kindness,
and through brotherly kindness, love.

Just as sin drawing you deeper and deeper in to it.
By diligently seeking after the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, our faith will grow and in so also will your moral excellence which leads to knowledge, of Him and His commandments that leads to self-control that leads to perseverance that leads to godliness that leads to brotherly kindness and to love.

And what are the two foremost commandments given to us by our God and Savior, Jesus Christ?

Matthew 22:35-40
One of them, a lawyer, asked Him (Jesus) a question, testing Him,
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
And He (Jesus) answered him saying,
“YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.
This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it,
YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”

call yourself a Christian? then stop hiding behind words and use the faith God has given you,
apply all diligences to seek after Christ Jesus and learn of Him and His ways,
learn to be faithful to Him first and foremost.

But yet still it is your choice to follow after the words of Christ Jesus or not.

Will you obey GODs word?
or will you go your own way down the broad path leading to the large gate??

Matthew 7:13-14
¶ “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.”   }}}

i know i repeated myself a few times but it is your / our eternal life that is at stack.

But aging the choice is yours to make.
No one can make it for you.

i chose to love you, and warn you.
For eternity will be a long time (like forever) and to live separated from GOD will be hell,
guess that's why the bible calls it the pit of hell.

1Peter 5:1-5
¶ Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed,
shepherd the flock of God among you,
exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock.
And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

{{{ as fellow believers in Christ we are to urge on, or encourage the elders of the body of Christ,
that they would not use the authority given them, or the influence they may have over some because of their position, to force or compel a fellow believer to perform in a certain manner.
Their position as an elder is to be a voluntary position.
A position that they are in by the will of God.
Not a position for their own gain,
not gain of power over others,
not a gain of prestige,
not a gain of ego,
nor pride,
not any immoral wrong gain.
They are to eagerly set out to help the body to obey and follow the words of God.
Not lording their position over the body but rather to come along side and to be an example of Christs Jesus and His love, encouraging the body to live in that love to live within the will and protection of Christ Jesus.

An elder is an older man who has the experience of living a life where the Holy Spirit has been given the ability of guiding them through life under their belt, haveing experienced a life subject to and directed by God and His word,
one who has learned to live a humble life toward others not lording over them because of what they have experienced or learned.
One who eagerly and humbly look forward to passing on to te younger believers in the body of Christ the things of the Lord. }}}

You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders;
and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.

{{{ “younger men, likewise, in all humility are to be subject to your elders”
The younger are to learn from the older, for the older have already ether gone through or have seen others go through the same things the younger are going through, so the older know or have seen the consequences of dealing with them.
And the younger should learn to live a life of humility the same as their elders, so that when the younger become the elder, they will h
ave the experience of living a humble life in Christ our Lord. GOD is against a proud person, but a humble person He will give grace }}}

{{{ a take away here: Want grace from GOD; do not take the wide road of a prideful life, but rather take the narrow path and Learn to be humble. }}}

1Peter 5:6-11
¶ Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert.
Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1Peter 5:12-14 ¶
Through Silvanus, our faithful brother (for so I regard him), I have written to you briefly, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God.
Stand firm in it!
She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you greetings, and so does my son, Mark.
Greet one another with a kiss of love.
Peace be to you all who are in Christ.

Peace be to you all who are in Christ!
Amen and Amen

Seek first the kingdom of God
Quote from the words of Jesus

Matthew 6:24-34
¶ “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth (the world).
¶ For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not worth much more than they?
And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
And why are you worried about clothing?
Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you?
You of little faith! Do not worry then, saying,
‘What will we eat?’ or
‘What will we drink?’ or
‘What will we wear for clothing?’
For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
¶ So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

{{{ Take always; Adapt your life to these:
A. You can not serve two masters, chose Christ Jesus OR wealth (Money, the world, evil)
B. Do not be worried about your life
C. As to what you will eat
D. Or what you will drink;
E. nor for your body, as to what you will put on
F. Are you not worth much more than birds whom God feeds or the lilies of the field
G. your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things
H. seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,
I. and all these things will be added to you.
J. do not worry about tomorrow
K. tomorrow will care for itself.
L. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

These 12 items if you will apply your life to them, you will see great growth in your life.
1. Serve God, Christ Jesus
2. Give your cares to the Lord and quite worrying
3. Don’t be so concerned about what you will eat, drink or wear.
4. GOD considers you of more value then His other creations whom He takes care of.
5. GOD knows your needs
If you will place as your number one priority to be seeking God’s Kingdom and His righteousness
All your needs will be taken care of
And you will have no need to worry about tomorrow.
Let GOD take care of tomorrow.

Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His (Christ Jesus) kingdom and His (Christ Jesus) righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

1Peter 2:21-23
For you have been called for this purpose,
since Christ also suffered for you,
leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH;
and while being reviled,
He did not revile in return;
while suffering, He uttered no threats,
but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;
and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds, you were healed.
For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

Are you seeking the righteousness of Christ Jesus?
Are you living out the examples Christ left us in the Bible?
Have you even searched out the examples????

No sin??
how is your language when being reviled do you use scornful or abusive language??
When being mistreated do you utter threats??
Are you entrusting yourself who judges righteously, GOD,
To Christ Jesus Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross??

Jesus gave up His life on the cross so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness for by His wounds, you were healed.

It is time to returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

Think about it.
Are you serving Christ Jesus?
Are you living in Him?
Or are you living for self?
Are you living within the world’s ways?
The way designed by the evil one?

And yet aging we return to this.
It is your choice; To serve the Lord,
or not.

Do you have peace in your life?
Truly; do you have peace in your life??

If not, you might question who you are serving.
If not, you might want to question where your teasers are stored.
If not, you might consider humbling your self before the Lord Jesus,
Humbly repent of your disobedience of GOD’s word and His commandments, ask to be forgiven, turn from your worldly ways and turn to Christ Jesus, as your Lord, truly repent, turn from your sins, and turn to Jesus.

Or keep going the direction you are headed and go to hell; the choice is yours.

Jesus stands at the door knocking waiting for those who will answer, those who will except His free gift of salvation.

]The liar Saten stands saying come on let’s go play, lets go and make ourselves feel better, lets gather more wealth, lets gather more power, lets do what ever we want, you can still go to church but once you’re through playing church, let’s get back to pleasing our self.
Let’s go watch the ball game, let’s go plan our next business deal, lets get back to planning our life out the way we want it to be, look how wide of a path I give you to travel down, and how wide the gate is, it is wide so that all can enter in.
Take a look at those Christians they walk a narrow path and have to go through that little tiny small gate.
See how much more loving I am compared to GOD; I love you so I will let you do what ever you want the more you bless yourself the more I will bless you for.
So, store up for yourself money, store up for yourself things, don’t share with those in need only with those who view things the way we do.[

It is your choice to make,
Heaven, of hell.
Will you listen to our Lord Jesus or will you listen to satin and his demands? That choice is your will it be Heaven, of hell.

GOD will is that no one goes to hell but if that is your choice, He will not break your will, He will allow you to succeed.

John 3:16
¶ “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”

Amen.

A. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God,
Matthew 23:12
“Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.

Luke 18:9-14
¶ And He (Jesus) also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt:
“Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
‘I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’
But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’
I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

B. casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you
Matthew 6:25
¶ “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

C. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
1Peter 1:12
It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things into which angels long to look.

D. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world
1Peter 1:13- 2:3
¶ Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,
but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written,
“YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”
¶ If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.
For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
¶ Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.
“ALL FLESH IS LIKE GRASS, AND ALL ITS GLORY LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS. THE GRASS WITHERS, AND THE FLOWER FALLS OFF, BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER.”
And this is the word which was preached to you.
¶ Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.

Matthew 24:42
¶ “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.

James 4: 7-8
Submit therefore to God.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Main take a way here:
God loves you, and has the best for you, it does not come with out a bit of trial and tribulation, the word is not going to like you at times. satin is looking to destroy anyone he can.

But we are told resist the devil, stop listening to his lies, and he will flee from you, Draw near to God, humble yourself and turn from sin in your life, stop trying to take part in the world and the things of this world, you can not serve two masters, stop being double minded.
Get off the fence, stop playing church, and find out who you are in Christ.

A quick not from GOD
Proverbs 3:1-7
¶ My son, do not forget my teaching,
But let your heart keep my commandments;
For length of days and years of life
And peace they will add to you.
Do not let kindness and truth leave you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor and good repute
In the sight of God and man.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.

The choice is yours to make.
Don’t be deceived, you are making the choice every day,
And you will receive; ether the reward and blessing of hearing those word “enter in my good and faithful, or the most gut-wrenching words any one will ever hear “depart from Me for I never knew you.”

The choice is yours

HI;
Well, here we are aging, back to the same questions:
Why don’t you post every day?
Why aren’t you on social media?

These are the two most common questions asked
So here we go aging.
i m not on here to gain your approval.
i am not on here to gain a massive following.
i don’t care if you like me.
i am not seeking your approval.
My value, nor worth is determined by this sight nor how many people read what i post.
Your acceptance is not the acceptance i seek.
My value and worth come from the Christ the Lord,
my Lord and savior.
It is His and only His acceptance i desire.
This world is not my home, i seek after His Kingdom and His righteousness
What i post is what the Holy Spirit is in the proses of teaching me.
And just like a few days ago i posted
“Take the time to learn love, take the next 20 day and prates being patient with those you come in contact with each day.”
This was for me to learn, and i shared it with you because it is something we are all told to do,
“to Love one another”
the first thing we are told about love is that it is patient.
If you are not patient with those around you – you are not showing love.
Something the Holy Spirit reminded me of and i need to work on. And you probably do also.

Matthew 6:33
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Matthew 22:36-40
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
And He said to him,
“ ’YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’
This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it,
‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’
On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”

1Corithians 13:4-8
"Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous;
love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly;
it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails"

Matthew 7:12
“In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Something the Holy Spirit got after me about and i have found to be very true in my life and in probably 90% of those who attend church; we hear a different teaching every week but never take the time to adapt our lives to the word of GOD, a bunch of head knowledge.

Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
And then I will declare to them,
‘I never knew you;
DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS."

Matthew 7:13
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

My desire, my goal in this life is to find the narrow way, that leads to the small gate, so that when the time comes and i stand before Christ my Lord i will dot here the most dreadful words one could every hear
“depart from Me for I never knew you”

Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

i have knocked, i have asked and i am seeking.
And in doing so the Holy Spirit has been faithfully teaching me,
directing the path i am walking.
And no, it is not a very popular path and at times I seem to drift but the Lord is faithful to direct me back.

And no i am not and do not think i am perfect,
i am human and at times fail,
one thing i have learned is that when i blow it, if in all sincerity, i humble myself, repent, and take it to the Lord He is faithful to forgive me.

One last thing before i go:
There are three more question that frequently pops up.
It goes along these lines.
Why don’t you learn grammar.?
Why don’t you ever capitalize i when your talking about yourself?
Haven’t you ever learned how to spell?

i never learned how to read until i was 16 or 17 So, i don’t aways spell things right, and grammar was neve high on my priority.
As far as i or I There is only one I, and that is not me, that would be the I am,
i never want to assume the place of God.

If it is that so important to use a capital i when speaking of one’s self, then why is it not that important to use a capital m when using the word me.
To me it is a sing of argents when someone has to state “I” when righting about one’s self.
I and I am are reserved for GOD, and i will stick to i for i am not God.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
i hope, no i pray that you will come on this journey down the narrow path to the small gate.
It is so freeing when you realize in Christ you are free.

And in following Christ and His word, bring much peace and joy.
Seek first the Kingdome of God and His righteousness and all this will be added unto you.

Hope this answers your questions,
i am not here to please you,
i am here to obey the Lord my GOD.
This world is not my home, my home is in heaven, for that is where my heart and treasures are.

As a believer in Christ Jesus my goal is to hear these words “Enter in My good and faithful servant”

The choice is yours; to ether fallow the Lord or follow after the world and its ways.
But as for me and my house we chose to follow after the Lord. Hope you will come along the journey.
