Good morning / good evening or good afternoon
i like the way we have become so impatient in our instant world that taking the time to step back and take a look at our lives and what we do, our motives and where we draw our motives and judgment for our actions from. To me rather disgusting.
i have not posted for 9 days and the visitors to the sight has dropped by 34%, and have been told to “mind your own business”, have been told “you have no right to accuse my friends” and those were the nice things, and i have done nether to anyone
But for those who are still here let’s move forward
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
If you have taken the time to reflect on my last post and have made the evaluation of those you are hanging with, those who you are taking advice from, and have made the choice to seek out those who would be a better influence in your walk.
We are not to stand in the path of sinners;
Simple Do not follow in the ways of sinners, Ones who breaks the law or violates the commands of the Lord
We are not to set in the seat of scoffers;
ridicule · mock · jeer at · scoff at · jibe at · make fun of · poke fun at · laugh at · hold up to ridicule · pillory · disdain · disparage · denigrate · pooh-pooh · dismiss · slight · detract from · sneer at · scorn · pour/heap scorn on · taunt · insult · torment · treat with contempt · vilify · lampoon · satirize · knock · take the mickey out of · poke at · flout
if these are the attributes of your life you have set in the seat of the scoffers and it is time to find a new chair
Psalms 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
What do you spend your time doing?
Are you so wrapped up in the things of this world, movies, music, sports, parties, work that you do not take or have the time spend with the Lord, learning His laws and ways, what do you spend your hours thinking about all the things above or the things of the Lord.
Life is only complicated when we do not spend our days with the Lord in His word.
Over the next few days keep track of what you are thinking and speaking through out your day, be aware of your first thought in the morning when you wake and your last thought at night as you lay your head down to sleep, this will give you a good indication of where you spend your time and who with.
be at peace with Father God and you will be at peace
