A Psalm of David, A Psalm to contemplate How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!
How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not place iniquity upon, And in whose spirit there is no deceit: dishonesty, treachery, deceitfulness, trickery, pretense, cheating, falseness, guile or fraud
when I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long.
For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. Selah (Salah to stop and consider what has been said).
I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide from You; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah. (Salah to stop and consider what has been said).
Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You Lord in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.
You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. (Salah to stop and consider what has been said).
the Lord says I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, whose trappings include the bit and bridle to hold them in check, Otherwise they will not come near to you.
Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in the LORD, lovingkindness shall surround him.
Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous ones; and shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.
The Lord does not put sickness upon us but we in our sin bring stress in to our lives and stress brings about sickness, by confessing our sins to the Lord and asking to be forgiven of our sins, the impact of stress will be lifted from us and health will return; Stress creates worry, stress and worry weakens the immune system and make us venerable to sickness. You can be so worried that someone will find out your sin that your mind becomes so consumed with hiding the sin that your whole personality will change, you can become so protective of yourself that you will push others away and become isolated in your sins. Instead go to the Lord and confess your sins to Him and ask to be forgiven, except the fogginess given to you and walk upright in the Lord. Sin kills, forgiveness brings life. Think about it.
the Lord knows you sin He sees you, but unless you go to Him and confess your sins to Him and ask to be forgiven He can not forgive you, confessing your sins to man will not get you forgiven, for man cannot forgive sin only God can do that.
