1Peter 2:13-17
¶ Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right.
For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men.
Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God.
Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.

{{{ as a follower of and believer in the Lord Jesus you should know that GOD does not ever give up His authority, nor does He weaken commandments to allow man to sin against His commandments.
A kings, a governors, a presidents authority never exceeds the authority of GOD.
And GOD has never given up His authority to man for him to overturn His (GOD’s) authority.
To honor is to show “High respect, as that shown for special merit; recognition or esteem.” Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king. }}}

1Peter 2:18-25
¶ Servants, be submissive to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but also to those who are unreasonable.
For this finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a person bears up under sorrows when suffering unjustly.
For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience?
But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.
Christ Is Our Example
For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps,
WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH;
and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds, you were healed.
For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

{{{ a few things here;
We as humans love to complain when we are treated badly and go through suffering, even those who say “I am a Christian.”
And most of the time (until recently) this is brought on by our own making, by words that weren’t needed, actions unwarranted or an attitude out of control.
We love to hold that chip on our shoulder, or hold a grudge, feel offended, O wow is me attitude.
Jesus as our example: beaten, spat upon, nailed to a cross and He never spoke out harshly, never became the victim, never complained, in fact He asked His Father to forgive them. Doing wrong you deserve to suffer, so why complain?
If you are doing the will of the Father (GOD) and you are brought to suffering, why complin you are doing the Fathers will and your reward will be in heaven, you are in His hands so do as we are told, “praise Him in all things, in all circumstances.

Point 2: “you were healed”
As humans it seems we are constantly concerned about our health.
Will run to a doctor for anything spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars and then clamming it is God’s will.
Do the research of where the drugs and medical practices used now days comes from.
If you read Geneses about the creation of man and the world and all in the world you will see that Jesus was with Father God, and creation was formed.
Then in the New Testament we are told of the birth of Jesus and of His life, the things He did and of those who were healed, through Him and His disciples. Now think about this; You just purchased a brand new car with ) miles on it, and a week later it breaks down, where do you take it?

You wouldn’t take it to the corner chop shop, would you?
(for those who don’t know what a chop shop is, it is a place that cuts up cars to sell the parts) No, you would take it back to the manufacture (the sales lot where you purchased it) and you would want it repaired with asthenic parts. Right.

The statement above “you were healed”
Some bibles say were healed by His strips (His strips were His wounds from being beaten for doing no wrong)
“you were healed”
Paste tense, it is, was done, it was completed.
It is just a manner of trust, faith and acceptance.
Faith in Christ not in a doctor.

Personally, i would rather die knowing i have trusting GOD, having my faith firmly planted in Him rather then to live knowing i put faith in a man rather than my creator, Lord and savior.
My redeemer and friend.

Controversial yes, but then so is the bible now days.
The choice is yours not mine to make for you, you do not and will not answer to me on judgment day, that you will do before the creator, and when He askes where was your faith planted?
Will you be able to say in you Lord, in you.
Or will you need to list off all the doctors you visited?

Through His suffering, His wounds, we were healed.
Go read the book of Job and see what GOD did for him,
Read Matthew where over and over Jesus says by your faith you have been held.
Not once did Jesus say O I can’t help you go find a doctor.
And He is not saying that today, what He is saying is come unto Me.
I will provide all your needs.

at least take the time to think about it.   }}}
