i have been reading Revelation as many of you know, and it seems that each time i do the Holy Spirit shows me a little more and brings understanding to what the Lord is saying.
In the past a lot of time has been spent looking at what the Lord has to say to the Churches., (to each and every one of us who claim to be Christians).
Jesus states what He holds against us and what we do or have that is good in our lives; Revelation 2:4-6, Revelation 2:1416, Revelation 2:20-28, Revelation 3: 2-5, Revelation 3: 8-12, Revelation 3:15-21, And the LORD also states six times “he who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; Revelation 2:11,17, 29 + 3:6, 13, 22 in each one of these verses the LORD Jesus tells the churches (each one who calls them self a christina the same thing
“” He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.""
My question is and has always been do you (i) hear what the Spirit of GOD is saying to me (do you).
The above verses are very clear on where we as Christians do not please Father GOD. With that said or resaid. Over the last few months the Spirit has been showing more of Revelation and giving me a bit of understanding (NO no new great theology but rather an understanding of what HE is saying).
The first thing that caught my attention something i have read several times but never really thought about; the seven Spirits of GOD
Revelation
1:4 “;and from the seven Spirits which are before the throne.”
3:1 “These things says He that has the seven Spirits of GOD”
4:5 “and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of GOD.”
5:6 “a Lamb standing as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of GOD, sent out into all the earth.”
Jesus is the one who has the seven Spirits of GOD.
Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega; the one who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty
Jesus is the one who holds the seven stars in His right hand
The one who walks among the seven golden lampstands
The one who is the first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life
The one who has the sharp two-edged sword
The Son of GOD, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet are like burnished bronze
The one who has the seven spirits of GOD and the seven stars
Jesus is He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David , who opens and no one will shut, and shuts and no one will open
The Amen, the faithful and the true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of GOD
Jesus the one who knows your deeds
The one who knows your tribulation and your poverty (even though you are rich)
The one who knows where you dwell
He knows your deeds, your love, your faith, your service and your perseverance
He knows your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but yet you are dead
He know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; He says I wish that you were cold or hot.
In other words Jesus the Son of GOD knows you, who you are, where you are and what you do.
And He has lets us know what will happen if we are not actively seeking.
In Revelation 3:15-32 Jesus kind of sums it all up
“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot.
So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.
Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.
Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches”
A scarry thought being spit out of the mouth of Jesus.
It is time to step up pick a side and go for it, hopefully you will chose Jesus and to follow after Him, become patient, dedicated to following Jesus,
He knows all about you and what choices you make – you chose to be hot, cold or lukewarm.
The choice is yours so chose the choice you are willing to live with for eternity.
