Jude 1:5-7
¶ Now I desire to remind you, though you know all things once for all, that the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day, just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.
The long view;
I would like to remind you of a few things
1. remember that after the Lord after saving the people from Egypt, destroyed those who did not believe.
2. remember that the Lord pleased the angels who left heaven to fallow after satan in chains and under darkness for the great day of judgment.
3. remember Sodom and Gomorrah and what the Lord did to them because of their indulged in gross immorality, and pursuit of unnatural sex, committed fornication.
I would that you would remember these things, for they are examples of the suffering which will take place for those who do not fallow after and obey the Lord.
if you take a look around the world to day you see openly displayed those indulging in gross immorality, and pursuing acts of unnatural sex, and the committing of fornication.
it is in every movie, song, tv show, bill board and advertisement of any and all kinds, even in the church.
Open your eyes and you will see it, these concepts are being infiltrated in to you every day, in every thing and way the world can, and it is for one cause, to weaken your relationship with the Lord God the God of creation, the Father of Christ Jesus our Lord and savior.
The Question:
are you? will you ? be willing to turn your back on the ways and things of this world, to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and repent of your sins, follow and obey the commandments of the Lord so that you may have eternal life?
or
are you so entrapped by the world and its ways that you are willing to fallow the same path as the unbelievers, the fallen angels, Sodom and Gomorrah.
That choice is yours,
the ways of the world - or - the way of the Lord?
what will you chose?
