James 1:2-3
¶ Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

To endure;
To stand firm in an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way
To be a part of a race or other sporting event that takes place over a long distance or otherwise demands great physical stamina.
No matter what may come our way Christ is still in control and if we will but stand in Him and His love not wondering off on our won His strength will give us the ability to endure anything, for if we are trusting Him nothing can take us from His love

Endurance can be seen in someone who has an attitude of gratitude being and showing gratefulness for all one has,
rather than complaining about what one does not have.

Being content and grateful standing firm in Christ with what ever may come or go so that you may be perfect lacking in nothing, considering it all joy.
